Just like personal goals, you can either automate goal funding or do so manually: •Automatic/Recurring transfers This funding method can be used to create a standing order to move funds from your current account to your jar. iz doesn’t like to complicate things. If you’re in the mood for a structured savings process, then Personal Goals are the way to go. But for rainy days (or maybe dusty days), one jar is all you need. So no, you cannot create additional jars. But with your one Emergency Jar, you can add up to SAR 9,999,999 with unrestricted withdrawals.

100% of the available balance. It’s your money, and you know how to spend it responsibly.

30% of the card’s credit limit.

Great question! And because iz is committed to transparency, we are happy to provide you with the details. After the payment due date, the monthly profit margin is collected from the remaining payable amount. For example, consider a case where the card has a credit limit of SAR 10,000 and its monthly profit margin is 2%. If the full amount due is SAR 1,000, then the minimum payment required is calculated as -> 5% of 1000* = SAR 50, which is less than SAR 100. Thus, the minimum payment applicable will be SAR 100. On the payment date, once the minimum payment (SAR 100) has been settled, then the remaining amount shall fall due on the statement of the following month. The calculation of monthly profit margin would then be –> 2% of (total amount due (1000) – Payment made (100)) and will be deducted from the card and shall be due in the account statement of the next

Yes, iz allows you to set it and forget it. You can fully automate a bill payment for a specific date, either after paying that bill or by managing that bill via automation settings found in the bill details screen. There you can start, edit, or even deactivate bill payment automation.

There are two ways you can fund your goal: • Automatic/Recurring Transfer while creating your goal, this funding method can be chosen to create a standing order to move funds from your main account to your goal account. This can be done every month or week. iz supports you by recommending an amount based on your target and end date. However, this can be changed as per your needs. • Manual Transfer (reminder) If you don’t wish to set up recurring transfers, iz can remind you to add funds to your goal account every week or month. You can then manually add funds at your convenience. You can add funds only from your Alinma SAR current account.

When it comes to saving, every little bit matters; and with spare change roundups, iz rounds current account purchases to the nearest whole number and deposits the difference in your goal account. For example, if you spend SAR 2.90 on coffee, iz can round it up to SAR 3.00 and deposit SAR 0.10 in your chosen goal account. This way, you save as you spend, which helps you reach your goal faster. And as always, iz gives you options, allowing you to turn this feature on and off easily. Note that you can only use this feature for one goal at a time. However, you can switch goals any time from the “Details” page.

Your points are valid for up to one year from the date they were credited to your account.

The amount of money you can use daily for bill payments is based on your profile. If you reach your daily limit, we will send a reminder the next day that notifies you that your daily limit has been renewed.

The account holder that originates the goal is the sole owner goal account owner. As such, the owner grants power of attorney to the other participant (collaborator), giving them permission to transfer money in and out of the goal account.

That is absolutely possible; especially since your own responsible financial behaviors impact how you interact with iz over time. For your card, the credit limit will start at SAR 300, and can be increased up to SAR 1500 based on your payment history.

Absolutely! You have access to both.

Yep, iz is flexible, and that absolutely can be done. You can transfer money to a beneficiary at another local Saudi bank using their mobile number, email address, National ID number, or IBAN. Such transfers have a maximum daily limit of SAR 2500 (or your account limit, whichever is lower). For transactions up to SAR 2500, there is no need to add or activate the beneficiary. Just make sure the beneficiary bank supports IPS and is a Saudi citizen. For all other transfers, adding and activating beneficiaries are required.

iz understands – sometimes you may want or need a little money for a special purpose before you’ve reached your savings goal. But the purpose of the personal goals feature is to help you achieve your target on-time, and frequent withdrawals can hinder that. So, to make sure you don’t mess up a good thing, iz has a special process for withdrawals that helps you pause to consider your actions: •On your goal details page, select “Withdraw” •Read the instructions and select “Request to withdraw” •iz then implements a cooling off period of 5 hours, during which you can consider whether you really want to complete the withdrawal, after which iz notifies you •Once notified, the withdrawal will be enabled for 24 hours, and you will be able to withdraw all or some of the funds in the goal account •You can either select the notification or select “Withdraw” •Then enter a withdrawal amount (less than or equal to total saved) and choose a destination account (must be your own Alinma SAR current account)

With a traditional joint account, the two people who open the account do this together, and then have legal, equal ownership of it. With a Shared Savers goal account, the goal creator is the sole owner of that account. Anyone they invite to join is merely given Power of Attorney, which allows them to access and/or contribute to the funds within that goal account.
